About
My Approach
As a former corporate executive trained and licensed in Clinical Social Work, I offer an approach to therapy that is as pragmatic as it is reflective. My approach is attuned to you, your situation, and your goals. Session by session, we will look at what concerns you today and what growth and healthy change look like for you. With warmth and directness, I work alongside you to understand and resolve factors past or present impeding your desired quality of life.
I draw on a diverse body of therapeutic frameworks. This includes insight-oriented psychodynamic theory, mind-body connection, and cognitive/behavior techniques. These are dynamically adapted based on what best suits you and your needs. I place an emphasis on helping you to bring in-session insights into your daily life, aiming to provide tools and exercises to aid in reflection and practice between sessions.
Client Focus
I intentionally work with a wide range of adults and issues. I have extensive experience and interest in treating anxiety, depression, trauma in its many forms, and the impact of oppression. I also work with you to provide support and guidance in the navigation of life changes and adjustments.
I make a point of only working with individuals to whom I believe my treatment style is well-suited. I offer you an in-office informational consultation at no charge for us to determine whether or not this approach is a good fit.
